TG TET Exam Date 2024 Eligibility Criteria
For TG-TET Paper-I (Classes I to V):
Candidates must fulfil any of the following qualifications:
- Educational Qualification:
- Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates).
- Pass in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Alternative Eligibility:
- Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates).
- Pass in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) for candidates admitted to D.El.Ed/D.Ed. courses before 23-12-2015.
For TG-TET Paper-II (Classes VI to VIII):
Candidates must fulfill any of the following qualifications:
- Educational Qualification:
- B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. With at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates).
- Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or B.Ed. (Special Education).
- Alternative Eligibility:
- B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. With at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates).
- Pass in B.Ed. or B.Ed. (Special Education) for candidates admitted to B.Ed. courses before 23-12-2015.
- Other Qualifications:
- 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. With at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates).
- Graduation with the concerned language as an optional subject or equivalent qualifications with Language Pandit Training Certificate/B.Ed. in the concerned language methodology.
- B.E/B.Tech with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates) and B.Ed. or B.Ed. (Special Education).
