South Western Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2024: South Western Railway (SWR), Hubballi, has announced openings under the Sports Quota for various Group C positions in the railway services for the 2024-25 season. There are 46 vacancies available in Levels 5/4, 3/2, and the former Group D in Level 1 as per the revised pay rules of 2016. Eligible candidates are invited to apply online. South Western Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2024: Age Limit:
application must be between 18 and 25 years old as of 1st January 2025. There is no age relaxation.
Educational Qualifications:
- Level 5: Graduate in any discipline or equivalent.
- Level 4: Bachelor’s Degree, 1st Year B.Sc. (Physics), or 12th-grade pass in Science (Physics/Math). Typing skills may be required.
- Level 3/2: 12th pass or equivalent for non-technical posts, or 10th pass with Act Apprenticeship/ITI from NCVT/SCVT.
Sports Qualifications:
To be eligible, candidates must have represented the country in Category-B championships or achieved top positions in specified national and international sports events, including the Federation Cup for senior categories.
Sports Event Categories:
- Category A: Olympic Games (Senior)
- Category B: World Cup/Championships, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games (Senior)
- Category C: Commonwealth/Asian Championships, South Asian Federation Games, USIC Championships
Application Fees:
- General/Others: ₹500
- SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PWD/Women/Minorities/Economically Backward Classes: ₹250
Fees can be paid via online banking or credit/debit cards.
Selection Process:
The selection process includes a skill trial, physical fitness test, assessment of achievements, and education evaluation, totaling 100 marks.
